CHATEAU KEFRAYA - RED

The “Château Kefraya” wines are emblematic of the domain.

Harmoniously combining power and elegance, they are the finest expression of our micro-terroirs.

30 year-old vines spread over 22 hand-harvested hectares give birth to this wine of character. The best grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsaut are aged in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.

Combining power and elegance with silky tannins, the Château Kefraya is characterized by subtle notes of cherry, spices, leather and vanilla. Enjoyable young, it will age favorably for a decade or more.

Decanted before serving, it is the perfect wine for complex meat dishes,

light game - such as leg of lamb - and soft cheeses.

Chateau Kefraya Rose is Clear and shiny rose petal, with silver highlights. The first bouquet is fresh and intense, revealing notes of peach, citrus fruits, grapefruit and exotic fruits, with mineral notes. The second bouquet is more floral, offering notes of roses and lilac with citrus notes. The nose is fine and complex, elegant and sustained. The first impression is round and fresh. This wine is refined, delicate yet full in the mouth, revealing notes of citrus and exotic fruits, finishing with sustained notes of vanilla.

Les Bretèches gets its name from a “bretèche”, a projecting window with floor openings originally used for defensive purposes, which is a feature of the castle on the Château Kefraya estate.

Chateau Kefraya Les...

Les Bretèches gets its name from a “bretèche”, a projecting window with floor openings originally used for defensive purposes, which is a feature of the castle on the Château Kefraya estate.

The first bouquet is fresh with good intensity, revealing subtle notes of muscat as well as exotic notes, with hints of white flowers and honey. The second bouquet, with exotic aromas, offers peach and fresh melon notes. The nose is clear, flawless, refined with a beautiful complexity.
Serve well chilled, between 5 and 7 degrees.

Food Pairing: Lebanese salads and mezze dishes like fattouche, tabboulé, hommos etc., oysters, mussels cooked in white wine and grilled fish.
This wine is best served young but can be drunk up to 3 years after the vintage date

Chateau Kefraya- Coteaux

Named after Château Kefraya’s very first red wine, launched in 1979, Coteaux is a red wine with a proud heritage. With its slight hint of oak, it has the fruit and the freshness to be appreciated upon release or after a few years of aging. Born from a unique blend of Syrah, Marselan and Cabernet Franc, Coteaux reveals an intense nose of roasted coffee and vanilla. Since year 2000 and ‘’La Cuvée d’Aïda’’, each Blanc de Blancs vintage is a tribute to an opera bearing the name of a lady.
Atypical trio of Viognier, Chardonnay and Muscat à Petits Grains reveals floral notes such as lily and acacia, mingled with flavors of honey, apricot and mango. Its aromatic expression is rich, vigorous and extremely fresh.
